Shema (Hear/Listen) Israel, Yahuah Elohanu, Yahuah Ecad. Hear Israel Yahuah Our Elohiym Is One
This particular script is often sung as an anthem for people who identify with Hebrew Israelite faith, culture, and way of life.
As we begin to study Hebraic culture, we learn to respect Yahuah's instruction and order. There is only one kingdom reality, Yahuah's. There is no room for Western concepts of individuality apart from Torah. Yahuah's word and order is our foundation.
This may seem narrow-minded way of thinking to some and indeed it is. Matthew 17:13 tells us, "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many enter through it." KJV
A History of Rebellion Against Yahuah
The scripture above can also be interpreted, Narrow is the way that leads to life and few there be that CHOOSE It. Read what Yahuah has said about His people,
Even the stork that flies across the sky knows the time of her migration, as do the turtledove, the swallow, and the crane. They all return at the proper time each year.
But not my people! They do not know the LORD’s laws. Jeremiah 8:7 BSB
When Moses was receiving the first set of commandments also known as "The Law", Yahuah said to Moses, Go, get thee down; for thy people, which thou broughtest out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves: They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be thy gods, O Israel, which have brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. And the LORD (Yahuah) said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold,it is a stiff-necked people: Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them....Exodus 32:7-10. KJV Fortunately, Moses interceded for our ancestors and they were spared.
